Our Bodacious Biscuit Love Weekly Recap For August 7th - August 13th
Lisa was on vacation this entire week. Due to her recent diagnosis with round two of Lyme Disease and testing positive for Mono, she took it easy most of the week. Between light housework and a few small projects around the house, we managed to have lots of fun that didn't require being out in the sun and heat or strenuous activity. Lisa got new jeans, a new lunch bag, a new power tool with accessories, we had a scrumptious fried seafood dinner while playing cards, and we spent her birthday visiting a few yard sales and flea markets. After resting all afternoon, we enjoyed a lobster dinner at home and a movie or two.
During mid-week, I baked biscuit love. I also finished up a couple of custom wedding bananas for 2 very special humans who's pups will be in their wedding. We enjoyed the company of 2 dear friends who we haven't seen in a long time. And, throughout the entire week, I caught up on blog stuff, work, and tackled most of my to-do list. I also had a chance to do a lot of tentative planning for upcoming changes and more areas of focus.
I'll fill you in later...
It was a productive week. A relaxing week. A week to connect and do a lot of things we don't normally get to do together, even if it was playing endless games of cards at the kitchen table. Much needed all the way around.
