Our Bodacious Biscuit Love Weekly Recap For July 10th - July 16th
What a week! It all began with baking biscuit love. I knew it was going to be a crazy week with lots going on. We wanted to get the biscuits baked beforehand. I'm glad we did. We restocked our display, spread some biscuit love to a few pet parents, and restocked our biscuit jar.
This was a big week for Willa. She joined our family the first week of March. When we adopted Willa, she was in full heat. That was a big challenge, but we got through it. As recommended by our veterinarian, we waited for the 3-month mark from when she was completely done with her heat to have her spayed.
Thursday was the big day. We were a bundle of nerves. Willa was dropped off around 9 a.m. and we were able to pick her up shortly after 3. She did great! The staff adored our little girl and they took very good care of her.
The next challenge will be keeping her inactive for the next couple of weeks while she heals. She's a Jack Russel. Need I say more?
Over the weekend, we went through all the stuff in the basement. This coming Saturday is the official yard sale day. Mother Nature hasn't been too cooperative with Saturday weather up until this point, but this Saturday is looking good. It's New England. A lot can change in a week's time when it comes to the weather. However, we're keeping our fingers and paws crossed.
On a side note, the pup in the photo is one we visited at a local animal shelter. We brought her lots of biscuit love and spent some time with her. What a sweetie! She was eventually adopted by a wonderful family.
There's a lot more stuff happening in our Bodacious Dog Mom Life! These are the columns I published over the past week.
