Our Bodacious Biscuit Love Weekly Recap For June 26th - July 2nd
Years ago, the 4th of July was one of my favorite times of the year. I always made sure to see at least 3 or 4 public firework displays. Most years, I'd attend a 4th of July cookout that ended with a private display of legal fireworks. Times have changed. Now, I dread this time of year. We have 4 rescued fur-kids and they're all afraid of the crackles, booms, and bangs. The weekend before the 4th of July, the day of, and the weekend after, we hunker down. We haven't seen a public display of fireworks in years.
This year, to keep busy, we'll be working on DIY Dog Mom Projects and baking biscuit love. We've managed to sell most of the DIY Dog Mom Projects we made but didn't sell at the Annual Spring Festival & Craft Show. We sold a few things as bundles.
Now, we have plenty of room to make more projects.
I know it's been a while since we created a new homemade dog treat recipe. I'll be getting back on board with that in the next few weeks. Right now, we're still adjusting to Lisa's extended hours at work that accompanied her promotion. I've had to make a few adjustments to my schedule. On top of that, we planned a big backyard anniversary party to celebrate our first 5 years. And, we're still trying to get Mother Nature to cooperate with the weather on a Saturday so we can clear the basement and have a yard sale.
There is more happening in Our Bodacious Dog Mom Life! I published these columns over the past week to fill you in!
