Last Saturday, we participated in the Annual Spring Festival and Craft Show. As with any event we do, the couple of days to follow is just as busy as the days before the event. This time around was no different. The past few days have been crazy busy. We baked biscuit love, made a couple of custom Bodacious Patchwork Doggy Quilts, took inventory, made a list of stuff we need, and got the biscuit room organized.

Despite our best efforts in the area of planning, we didn't eat dinner until after 7 last night. We took a small break. Finished installing the hardware for our DIY leash holders and dog themed wall decor. We called it quits around 9 p.m. when we were officially done preparing for the Annual Spring Festival and Craft Show.

The countdown begins! I've just sewed over 30 Doggy Bandannas. On the overnight I'll be stuffing and final stitching the decorative dog bone pillows. Catching up on blog columns. Tomorrow I'll be putting the hardware on the leash & pup apparel holders and doggy decor. Housework. Bagging biscuit love.

Towards the end of last year, someone from our Bodacious Community gave us some super soft upholstery fabric. We loved the prints. My initial thought was, "This fabric would be perfect for doggy beds or maybe...a reversible Bodacious Patchwork Doggy Quilt." I was excited to experiment with it and put it to good use. This week, it finally happened, but it wasn't in the form of doggy beds or quilts.

I want to apologize for the lack of blog posts over the past few days. We've been super busy preparing for the Annual Spring Festival and Craft Show event on May 20th. I'm running on less than 3 hours of sleep a day. By the end of the day, despite my best efforts to update, I'm too exhausted to string words together to make a sentence. I've actually dozed off in the middle of typing a blog post.

So, this is where we are now. The items in the photo is just a mere portion of the wood DIY Dog Mom Projects that we're making for the Annual Spring Festival and Craft Show. I'd like to say we're on schedule, but we've fallen a little behind. Mother Nature had a lot to do with that. We've had unseasonably cool temperatures. Rain. Humidity. You know what that means?

We're making progress! Last week, we put the final touches on FIVE Bodacious Patchwork Doggy Quilts. Within an hour, the sewing stuff was put away and we got the kitchen table ready to work on DIY Doggy Toy Boxes, leash holders, and dog themed wall decor. It hasn't been easy, but we've managed to stay on schedule.
