Last week, we published a post about the Annual Spring Festival and Craft Show that we'll be participating in on May 20th. We've been invited to do this event for the past 2 years, but we declined. It's not a pet event. However, after much discussion and at the last minute, we said yes. That wasn't an easy decision for us because aside from our biscuits, we had nothing else to offer. No DIY Dog Mom Project back stock. No Bodacious Patchwork Doggy Quilts. Nothing.

When we purchased our new vehicle in the Fall of 2015, we wanted to put some decals on the back windows. After shopping at a few locations, we left empty handed. We were frustrated. I expressed my frustrations. Within minutes, a talented lady replied. At the time, she had a small business out of her home. She made decals and volunteered to custom make the decals we wanted. Needless to say, we were overjoyed.

Willa is the first of our fur-kids who requires a few hours of crate time a day. She's a Jack Russell. Curious. Sneaky. Has displayed some minor separation anxiety behaviors. She's grabbed food from the table within seconds after turning our backs. If Willa really wants something, she'll get it. She's a mastermind. A female Harry Houdini. The list goes on. So, for the 3 hours I attempt to grab a bit o' sleep in the morning, she's crated. And, if Lisa and I leave the house together, she's crated.

We launched Bodacious Biscuit Love in October of 2013. In the following 2 years, we participated in a lot of events. From April through December, our calendar was booked. In addition, for those 2 years, we hosted a Bodacious Yard & Bake Sale at our home. We had one during the Summer months, and the other in the Fall. All the way around, it was a lot of work. Last year, we made some changes. That included events and discontinuing our Bodacious Yard & Bake Sale.

We want to wish everyone a Bodacious Happy Easter! The weather here in Connecticut is supposed to reach the mid-80's and the rain should hold off until this evening. Get outside, enjoy the weather, eat lots of marshmallow eggs and chocolate bunnies, and have a fantastic time with friends and family.

This morning, Lobo wore his Easter Bunny costume and accompanied us to the Pet Supplies Plus in Groton to donate a Bodacious Doggy Quilt and Biscuit Raffle basket for the Ledyard C.H.A.I.N. event. The event ran from 11 to 3 and there were lots of gorgeous pet themed craft items for sale along with a couple of raffle items.

We want to take a moment to extend a HUGE thank you to our Bodacious Community. This is one, of many, Bodacious Biscuit Love Care Packages we've sent out in the past few weeks. The photo was taken by one of the recipients. It made our day.

Over the past almost-4 years, we've had the pleasure and honor of meeting quite a few of our local Animal Control Officers. We can't even begin to tell you the amount of work and dedication these men and women have. Each and every day, they're in the front lines. They rescue animals from horrible situations, put every effort forth in finding lost animals, and everything between.

Another soft baked treat? Yes. I almost want to say this will be the last soft baked dog treat recipe I create for a while, but I can't. Since publishing the recipe for our Bodacious Soft Baked Peanut Butter Dog Treats, a lot of people have reached out. They've thanked us for creating soft baked recipes because they no longer have to rely on soft, store bought treats.

A week ago I published a post after not writing one for almost a week. I mentioned that Lisa has fallen sick with the same nasty cold-infection-virus-depths-of-hell-sickness we both had in January. Back in January, Lisa got it first. I got it a week later. Well, the same thing happened this time around. A week after she fell sick, I woke up with a sore throat, a tight chest, and laryngitis. From there, it turned into a massive head and chest cold.

As of late, we're on a soft baked kick. A few days ago, we published the recipe for Bodacious Soft Baked Peanut Butter Dog Treats. They're almost identical to our original Bodacious Biscuit Love Peanut Butter Dog Treats. The only difference is they're thicker and soft. It's the perfect treat for pups who aren't able to eat crunchy treats.

A few days ago, I created a new, homemade dog treat recipe. Well, sort of. To back up a bit, a sweet pup, who has been a part of our Bodacious Community since day one, had major oral surgery. She had quite a few teeth extracted. On her road to recovery, it was discovered that she was no longer able to enjoy our original Bodacious Biscuit Love Peanut Butter Dog Treats. They're too crunchy. When we heard about this, we were heartbroken.
