Every Once In A While You Need A Catch Up Day

Yesterday was officially our Catch Up Day. We got a little behind towards the end of the week because of a new addition to our family.  Even though everything is going incredibly well, and Willa has settled in, it's been exhausting and a little crazy around here. To be expected.

The process of catching up actually started late Saturday when we created the new dog treat recipe for the week...Bodacious Strawberry Banana Dog Treats. Willa was the inspiration behind this dog treat creation.

We are slowly transitioning her to the same meals we make for Coco, Sophie, and Lobo. That includes treats as well. Our original peanut butter dog treats have a lot of peanut butter in 'em. We want to introduce peanut butter slowly, however, I needed a treat she could enjoy now.

I had a very ripe banana on hand and strawberries were on sale. Score!

Part of catching up was finishing the second Bodacious Patchwork Doggy Quilt for the week. Prior to doing this, I made a dog bone template. This was the first quilt made using the template for dog bone appliques. I also made some letter templates. In the weeks ahead, I plan on making more templates so I can have a variety of appliques to feature on the quilts.

We offered this Bodacious Patchwork Doggy Quilt as an up for grabs item and it sold in under 10 seconds.

It's going to be another busy week. More quilts. Baking biscuit love. A new, homemade dog treat recipe. And, that's just the tip of the iceberg!
