These 3 Ornaments Kicked Off The Bodacious 12 Days Of Christmas

Have you ever completed a craft project with the intention to sell or give as a gift and had difficulty parting with it? That was the case with our first item up for the Bodacious 12 Days Of Christmas. A few days ago, Lisa hand-cut these ornaments, attached a screw in loop, and handed em' over to me so I could do my thing.

The finished product are these adorable, rustic ornaments. I sanded the wood, painted, re-sanded to give the ornaments a distressed look, hand-painted a snowman on each ornament, personalized with a few of my favorite pet-play-on-words, added a coat of gloss, and finished with some twine to hang.

And yes, I took the ornaments to hang on our outdoor Christmas treesfor the photo.

I have no shame in admitting I was very nervous about posting our first item. I had no idea how the Bodacious 12 Days Of Christmas would go...especially non-biscuit stuff. However, once posted, this set of ornaments sold in about 15 minutes.

Congratulations, Nancy!
