We Are Looking Forward To Restocking Our Bodacious Biscuit Love Bin

Things have been beyond crazy, busy here in our Bodacious household. Personalizing our Bodacious Country Crackle Holiday Ornaments. Packaging. Getting ready to ship and deliver. Baking biscuits. Keeping up with both blogs. Work. Finalizing some fun bodacious holiday stuff. The list goes on. And on. And on. I've had quite a few dork moments. One of 'em was forgetting to take a photo of our partially filled Bodacious Biscuit Love Bin. We had cans of food, a few bags of dog food, and biscuit love.

Now, it's gone. We helped out a couple of families who needed pet food and biscuits.

During this time, we also made a discovery. As I mentioned in a post or two ago, I like to test stuff. Just recently, that paid off when we made the discovery that glossy glaze and salt dough ornaments are not compatible. In the past, I've done several tests with our biscuits. Would they freeze well? What happens if a bag is left in the sun? Do they do well in humid temperatures?

I did the same thing with our Bodacious Biscuit Love Bin. I wanted to know how the contents would hold up inside of the bin while on our porch. The porch gets a lot of sun. Plus, we have to take into the consideration the upcoming winter temperatures and, next year, the summer.

At the end of the day, the bag of biscuits inside of the Bodacious Biscuit Love Bin had condensation inside of the bag. We know this happens when our bags of biscuits are out in direct sunlight. I thought the cover on the bin would prevent this, but it didn't. The sun beating down on the bin was enough. In addition, pet food, more so with cans, have temperature restrictions.

Our original plan was to have our Bodacious Biscuit Love Bin on the porch, however, we don't want to risk damage to the food, treats, bags, and cans. So, going forth, the Bodacious Biscuit Love Bin will stay in our biscuit room. We're going to keep it stocked. We'll post photos. And, we'll make it known what we have available for pet parents in need. From there, people can reach out and make arrangements to stop by for pickup. Or, if needed, we can deliver.

As the funds come in from the sales of our Bodacious Holiday Ornaments, we'll be restocking our bin again with pet food. Just recently, I went through some of our fur-kid's clothes. We have a few items for smaller pups available.

We are looking forward to restocking our bin every week and providing pet food and biscuit love for pet parents who have fallen on hard times. We're still spreading biscuit love. In fact, we've got a lot of biscuit love to spread over the next couple of weeks and through the holiday season. It's our busiest time of year!
