The 4 Most Common Questions People Have Asked Us After We Shared Our Recipes

Late spring of this year, we made the decision to share our Bodacious Biscuit Love Dog Treat Recipe. In the weeks to follow, we shared more of our homemade dog treat recipes. The response was overwhelming. Pet parents reached out to thank us and shared photos of their finished product. They were grateful to have the recipes so their pup could enjoy fresh baked treats.

We Are Sharing The Recipes For Our Birthday Biscuits And Pup-Cakes

Recently, we've had a few people reach out asking if we make birthday "pup-cakes" or birthday cakes for dogs. No. We don't. The next question is, "Do you offer anything for doggy birthdays?" Yes. We do. Birthday biscuits. What that includes is our fresh made biscuits swizzled with melted white chips and festive sprinkles. We offer assorted shapes. You get a dozen birthday biscuits per bag for a $5 donation.

Our Own Version Of A Sip-Wine-And-Paint Evening Out

Not a week goes by where I don't see a Facebook post and photo from someone who has attended one of those sip-wine-and-paint evening outs. Personally, I think it's a great concept. However, we don't get out much and our fur-kids are never left home alone after dark. Needless to say, I don't have a wine inspired painting to hang on our wall. However...

We Raise Our Glasses. With Love. With Honor. With Peace.

Our goal was to have our Bodacious Biscuit Love Bin launched this week to commemorate the 3 year anniversary of spreading the biscuit love. Sadly, that has been delayed. On Monday, Lisa received a phone call from Mom. Her Grammy wasn't doing too well and there was little hope she'd pull through. Although her health had been deteriorating slowly for some time, we were a bit shocked at the sudden turn of events. Our focus shifted on making arrangements for Lisa to see her Grammy and spend time with her family.

Whoopie Pies, Cookies, And Christmas Munch...Oh My!

In September, we made the announcement that we'd be participating in the Whiskers In Wonderland event. It'll be our 3rd year at this event. We absolutely love participating. It's a wonderful event with lots of activities and fun stuff. You can have photos of the pets, kids, or the entire family taken with Santa. There's crafts for the kids to make, lots of cool vendors, nail art, and some awesome raffle prizes. The profits from the raffle baskets and Santa photos will go to the Ledyard Animal Control Autumn's Fund to cover the medical needs for the shelter pets.

Thank You For Another Bodacious Year

At this time, last year, Lisa and I were preparing for a Bodacious Yard & Bake Sale to commemorate the 2 year anniversary of Bodacious Biscuit Love. It was over the top. Several rooms in our home were packed solid with yard sale items. We were baking biscuits. The day before our event, we spent most of the day baking cookies, breads, and whoopie pies. And, we were making sure everything was ready to go.

You Can Share These Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake Cookies With Your Pup

We're on a total apple kick here in our Bodacious household. 'Tis the season for everything apple and pumpkin. Not too long ago, I shared a recipe for Caramel Apple Cupcakes. Last Friday, we had a few people over for dinner. I made a big kettle of corn chowder with apple cider bacon and herbs, homemade french bread, and these delicious Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake Cookies.

It Took Most Of The Day To Bake 103 Ornaments. That's The Easy Part.

Since early last week, our Bodacious Country Crackle Holiday Ornaments have been available to order. The response has been incredible. Yesterday, I spent the entire day baking ornaments. Shortly before dinner, the final count was 103. Not all of them are spoken for, but I wanted to have extras on hand.

We're No Longer Shipping Biscuits Outside Of Connecticut. Here's Why.

Throughout the summer months, we made some changes to Bodacious Biscuit Love. You can catch up on all of that here.  One of the changes is that we are no longer shipping outside of Connecticut. I'm mentioning this because at least a dozen people have reached out to ask why. When I wrote the original post, I never explained why.

Our Caramel Apple Cupcakes Are "Hooman" And Pup Friendly

One of the many things I love about the fall season is the cooler weather. I don't have to limit using the oven to just baking biscuit love. If I get the urge to bake cookies at 2 in the afternoon, there's no competition with the air conditioners. This is the time of year when I fully stock the baking cupboards and bake several times a week.
