The 2016 Ledyard Animal Control Appreciation Day

Last year, the Ledyard Animal Control Appreciation Day was held on May 30th. We had a wonderful time participating in this event and met lots of great "hoomans" and pups. This year, the event will take place on April 24th from 10-4. It'll be at the Ledyard Pound. The entire day will be dedicated to sprucing up the grounds, planting flowers, raking and lots more!

We're going to have a small table set up with complimentary biscuit love to everyone who stops by with their pups. If you're not able to bring your pup, that's okay. You'll still get biscuits. We understand not all pups enjoy social settings with other pups.

In addition, I'll be making some "hooman" cookies to hand out to accompany the grilled hot dogs that'll be offered for lunch to those who stop by.

We are super excited about this event and hope people stop by to say hi, help out and bring their pups for us to meet. We're keeping our fingers and paws crossed for a sunny day!
