After 30 Hours Of Baking...
This is what 30 hours of baking looks like. The picture doesn't do justice. The trays of biscuits are piled high. Today we'll be breaking out the card table for extra trays. We've got a lot of holiday biscuit love for the sweet shelter pups that'll be shipped and delivered this month. Bake! Bake! Bake!
After packaging some of the biscuits and counting out the rest, there are over 2400 biscuits in the photo. That's just the beginning of what we'll be baking during the month of December. Most of what we bake this month will be delivered and shipped to our local animal shelters. We want to spread as much holiday cheer to the pound pups as we can. The rest will be donated for holiday gift baskets for needy families with pups, used to restock our displays and for those in our Bodacious Community and beyond who order.
That's a lot of baking and a lot of work.
As some of you may know, we bake the biscuits out of our home. Regular sized oven. One tray at a time. This is why it's necessary to bake 'round the clock, minus a few hours for sleep, during the month of December. It gets crazy busy. The biscuit room is crowded with an extra table and trays. Often times, the kitchen table is covered with packaged biscuits.
It's all about the biscuits and we're loving every minute of it!
