Is Your Thanksgiving Feast Safe For Pups?

Last year, we posted a column about Thanksgiving food safety for dogs. We included links to articles about which foods were safe and ones to avoid. And, there's even a link to a few recipes you can make so your pup can enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving feast. Well, it's that time of year again. Thanksgiving is right around the corner. So, we're reminding all of you pet parents out there to be careful!

Whether you're hosting Thanksgiving dinner or bringing home plates of leftovers, it's important to know what foods are safe for your pup before you make their plate or allow them bites of food from yours. This includes the obvious and not so obvious. What this boils down to is being aware of the ingredients in each dish. While sweet potatoes are healthy for pups, if the sweet potato casserole contains nutmeg or certain nuts, it could make them sick.

Take a few minutes and check out our last year's column 'Is Your Pup's Thanksgiving Plate O' Food Safe.'
