Today We're Extending A Bodacious Bunch O' Love & Gratitude To....Kim

It's day 29 of our month-long Bodacious Gratitude & A Few Surprises! This month has gone by quickly! In a few short days, we'll be celebrating TWO years of spreading the biscuit love. However, right here, right now, today...we're extending a whole bunch o' love & gratitude to Kim.

We live in a two family home and have resided here for approximately 3 1/2 years. Last fall, the old owners put the house up for sale. It was a scary and stressful time for us. Who would buy the house? Would they love animals as much as we do? Would they allow dogs? While we had options and connections and finding another home would be doable, we didn't want to move. We love it here. When our realtor found this place, we fell in love with it. And, we made it clear, we wanted to settle down. Long term.

In April, THIS incredible woman purchased the house, became our new landlord and moved into the upstairs unit with her daughter. I remember the day she looked at the house. And, when she came back to do a walk through. I told her what we do, what our mission is and about our fur-kids. When she said, "You have nothing to worry about" I exhaled.

Long story short, she rocks. Kim has a big heart when it comes to animals and, shortly after moving upstairs, adopted 2 kittens from a local animal shelter. One of the kittens was from the litter we fostered just 2 weeks prior.

She supports our Bodacious Biscuit Love mission, puts up with the noise when we have our Bodacious Yard & Bake Sales, and everything between. Her daughter, over the summer, accompanied us one afternoon to deliver biscuits to a local pound and visit with the pups.

Our fur-kids adore their "Auntie Kim" and have become her welcoming committee when she pulls into the driveway. She is amazing with our fur-kids and, for that alone, we are beyond grateful.

Thank you, Kim. For being you. Simple. Down to earth. Gigantic heart. For being supportive. And...for decorating your porch. First time anyone has ever decorated the top porch since we've lived here. The entire outside looks ah-may-zing!

We have a lil' something special for Kim that we'll be presenting her with at our event on Saturday.
