We're Wishing Everyone A Bodacious Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend. Really? Already? Although I'm not quite there's here. Summer is almost over. Over. Summer. Why am I having such a difficult time processing that? The leaves are beginning to turn their vibrant Autumn shades. Pumpkin spiced everything. Our neighbor friend has already decorated her yard with pumpkins and other fall decor. I've made apple crisp. The temptation to purchase pumpkins is 'bout near winning. Roasted root vegetables. Stews simmering in the crock pot. Fall scented wax melts.

I'm not ready. Yet. It's not September 23rd. There are still two weeks of summer left before the fall season begins. Another possible heat wave. It's going to be in the 90's again come Monday. More possible thunderstorms. Weather hot enough to warrant swimming. Watermelons. Corn on the cob.

However, despite all, it's Labor Day weekend. And, with that, we're wishing everyone a fun and safe long Labor Day weekend! Fun in the sun. Fire up the grills. A few adult beverages. Take it all in. Enjoy. Embrace. Savor every moment.

Just think, in a few months, we'll be complaining about the cold and snow and ice and the start of cabin fever will be setting in.

Thank sweet baby Miss Beckett and her gorgeous Mama, Brenda, for the Bodacious Labor Day photo.
