Homemade Peanut Butter Bites That Are Pup & Hooman Friendly

I've mentioned many times that our biscuits are both pup and "hooman" friendly. We snack on our biscuits too. In the wee hours of the morning, while baking, when the hunger pangs rumble in my tummy, I'll reach for a biscuit or two. Slather a lil' peanut butter on and...it makes for a great snack. In addition, most of the "hooman" baked goods I whip up are pup friendly too. I say "most" because once in a while, I make chocolate brownies, chocolate chip cookies, etc. Chocolate is a HUGE no-no for the fur-kids.

We're always on the lookout for homemade dog treats to share with our readers. We encourage "hoomans" to make their own dog treats. The majority of recipes we share probably wouldn't be tasty to the "hooman" palate. Once in a blue moon, we stumble on a recipe that is both pup and "hooman" friendly. When I use that term, I'm not just referring to the ingredients being human-grade". Pup and "hooman" friendly also signifies it will be tasty to us "hoomans."

The other day, I came across THESE! It was love at first sight and, I'm willing to bet, love at first bite. Pup Friendly Peanut Butter Bites For Your Dog. The ingredients are simple...rolled oats, peanut butter, flax seed and honey. I would even go a step further and add toasted coconut. What a scrumptious and convenient grab-n-go snack you can share with the fur-kids!

You can find the recipe here

(...and yes, I'll be making these real soon)
