Your Pup Will Be Head Over Paws For These DIY Pupcakes

We've had a lot of people reach out to us asking if we make birthday cakes or cupcakes for dogs. Currently, we don't. That's not to say we won't offer Bodacious Pupcakes in the future. Anything is possible. However, right now, it's not something we offer.

Usually after our reply, we're asked, "How can I make my own? It can't be that hard, right?" I have no shame in admitting, this question excites me. Both Lisa and I embrace DIY especially edibles. When you make it at home, you know what's going into it, you control the ingredients and it's a whole lot cheaper.

You don't have to be a world renown pastry chef to whip up a paw-licious birthday cake or pupcakes. It doesn't take long at all and the possibilities are endless. There are sweet and savory options too. And, best of all, pending your pup doesn't have food allergies, you can make a cake or cupcakes that both hoomans and pup can enjoy together!

Our favorite, when celebrating with our fur-kids, are my homemade pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and a dipped biscuit on top.
