Our 2nd Annual Bodacious Easter Biscuit Run
Today, we delivered Bodacious Easter Baskets to several local shelters and Lobo (the sweet lil' nugget of love pictured above) was our delivery assistant. Without thinking, we scheduled our Easter run on Good Friday. It's a holiday and most shelters were closed. Total dork moment on my part. A few deliveries were rescheduled. On Monday, we'll be shipping out some Easter packages to the sweet pound pups who's locations were beyond our route.
Lobo made his first delivery yesterday to our local Plainfield Animal Control Officer, Karen. He did quite well and soaked up the attention. Lobo is quite photogenic and had no problem posing for a photo.
Two of our Bodacious Easter Baskets were delivered to honor and in memory of two very special pups. The basket for Neccog is from sweet baby Tiki and New London's from the beautiful Ellie Mae. We want to thank Carolyn and Ann for sharing their story and photos with us.
We adore this photo of Lobo and Shea over at Neccog Animal Shelter. Total. Cuteness. Overload.
Another awesome photo! The fabulous New London Animal Control Officer, Tonya, took a moment to pose with Lobo and all the Easter goodies for the pound pups.
This gorgeous lady isn't an ACO. She's our hairdresser and we love her. While out and about, Lisa stopped to deliver some Easter biscuits for her pup, Kenzi. And of course we had to introduce her to Lobo!
A wonderful "silent angel" met us at Neccog and it was truly an honor to meet her. Before leaving, she stocked our trunk with a ton of packing supplies. We are so grateful for her donation and perfect timing. Last night, I used the last of our bubble wrap!
We want to thank our Bodacious Community for making our Easter Biscuit Run a success. We've got a few more shelters to deliver to in the weeks ahead and several boxes loaded with Easter goodies that we'll be shipping on Monday. There's going to be lots of happy pups!
