Winter. Spring. Summer. Fall.

A few people have come forth and asked why we're not posting our usual quota of biscuit photos on the Bodacious Biscuit Love Facebook page. This morning I scrolled through our Facebook updates. Eh. The absence of biscuit photos is quite noticeable. We have been so busy with our Cans For Cookies Drive, visiting shelter pups, baking a steady stream of biscuits, spreading the biscuit love, and brainstorming. Throughout this, we overlooked a few things. Biscuit photos were one. The other?

Wait for it...

We're making some changes. Don't gasp or panic. Bodacious Biscuit love is nearing the one year mark. Like with any new adventure, whether it's a business, non-profit, hobby or job, the first year is the most important. This is the hardcore phase. You learn what works, what doesn't and everything between. We're no different.

Bodacious Biscuit Love has experienced the 4 seasons. If you're a seasoned baker, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. If you're not, I'll explain things a little more in depth at a later date. We've done quite a few tangos with trial and error. We've taken notes on what works and what hasn't. A copious amount of deliberation has sporadically taken place. Brainstorming has been endless. Blah. Blah. Blah.

When all is said and done, there is one thing that won't change. Next month we're celebrating 1 year. Between now and then, we want to make some changes, update and redesign our labels, change up our blog site and fine tune a few things. None of this is simple. In fact, it's quite the opposite. It's extremely time consuming, a little costly and I'm anticipating periodic bouts of wanting to pull my hair out.

Rest assured, it'll all be worth it...the long nights, continuous sips of caffeinated beverages, sleep deprivation and midnight snacks. When we stumble on our 1 year mark on October 15th, we should be all set. In fact, this should all happen well before then. We've already started the process and it's well underway. Regardless of when we can exhale and relax a bit, I will be celebrating on October 15th with a glass of wine. Maybe two. Or quite possibly, the entire bottle.
