This is the scene mid afternoon after a round of biscuits are packaged, counters are wiped down and bowls, cutters, spatulas and trays are washed...our routine and process between rounds. Some days we have 2 boxes and 8 bags. Other times, a half dozen boxes and 2 bags. It varies from day to day.
Our shipping days are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We've gotten to the point where we order boxes from the USPS website. No offense to the post office, but occasionally there have been employees who give us "the look" when we've walked out with a few dozen packing boxes. We'd scurry out waiting for an alarm to go off or to be interrogated at the door before we're allowed to leave the premises.
There is a great sense of pride when a round o' biscuits gets packaged up, shipped and/or delivered (the above image is what we consider "a round"). This means later in the day, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, there will be a lot of sweet babies enjoying some crunchy love. With shipments and deliveries going out the door almost every day, there is a constant flow of Bodacious Biscuit Love being distributed. To us, that's happiness. It's why we do what we do.
